P & P Yachts was established by Phillip Playle in 2008.

Based in Essex in the United Kingdom, Phil Playle supports model yachtsmen around the world by building and repairing their radio-controlled yachts.

We bring together the finest manufacturers for components and sails, and bring it all together with our special attention to detail and quality of build to provide a first class yacht.

Phil Playle has been sailing since a young child in one form or another. Starting with dinghy sailing in the 1960s, and taking up model yachting in the late 1980s. Phil has also crewed on a number of large competitive yachts.

Phil is a professional craftsman and originally an engraver before he turned his hand to building model yachts in the 1990s with Sails etc.

Phil was the first ever national champion in the UK IOM class championships, and has competed in national and international model yachting events around the world.
